Recruitment Restrictions

Analyzing Data

Telegrams is a feature on NationStates, where nations can send messages to each other on-site. In addition, the World Assembly and numerous NationStates-related organisations send telegrams for various reasons such as a passage of a new resolution, ejection from a region or one of the unlockable fields becoming available.

Starting on 1 February 2013, NationStates introduced a new telegram system after years of development and speculation.

New features from the project, that were implemented in phases, included the introduction of “Sent Items” and “Archive” folders, new tools for recruitment in the NationStates API, the introduction of telegram stamps for bulk messaging, and the ability for individual nations to filter certain types of telegrams.

The new telegram system internally assigned each nation a unique number (e.g. #846 for Charlotte Ryberg and #847 for Minoa), which was notable for being adopted as the numbering scheme for NationStates Trading Cards in April 2018.

With the introduction of the new telegram system, NationStates allowed recruiters to ignore World Factbook Entry preferences and send a recruitment telegram to any nation in the world, starting on 9 March 2013. Previously, sending recruitment telgrams to non-Feeder/Sinker regions were completely banned.

Analyzing the recruitment data in the Enadian Union, is one of the most important procedures the Department of Recruitment goes through in order to receive a positive wave of new recruits during the recruitment season.

Enadia is a signatory member-region of the Arnhelm Treaty bound to legal frameworks that restrict the region's recruitment efforts.

Enadia recognizes the Union's needs as well as the necessity for balance in the recruitment process therefor chooses not to follow any means of poaching or direct targeting towards any User Created Region/s.

The Enadian Union recruits strictly in two main ways:

  •  The World Assembly (GCR-oriented)

  •  New and / or refounded Nations

The Enadian Union in the end of each month evaluates the received data of the previous months recruitment and determines next months objectives. According to the previous months success the Recruitment Department sets the framework and time table for next months recruitment.

Enadia also values the efforts and work that other User Created Regions have put in order to maintain their communities but also focuses on the objectives that the Union and the EU Community have set in order to keep all EU Services in a good shape.
